I have finished my HM since yesterday. Incorrect? I was told that it is incorrect because "finish" was just the point of action so this sentence should be used without "since yesterday" or should be rewritten in past simple(I finished my HW yesterday).
And I'm told that "I have met her twice over this years" is correct.
Then, I would like to know if these following sentences are correct? I have met her twice over two years. I have finished my HM 3 times since yesterday . I have finished my HM 3 times over two weeks. I have finished my HM 3 times this two weeks If not, what is it correct form?
Thank you

Hi,
Incorrect: I have finished my HM since yesterday. Corect: I finished my HM yesterday.
You can write in the past simple/simple past : ) I finished = I finish (+ed)

Do you mean HM for homework? If so, we write 'h/w' for homework. Correct: I finished my h/w yesterday.

I have met her twice over two years. (This can be said if you are speaking informal English. However, it is not correct grammar)
Correct: I have met with her twice over the last two years. (You can say this for formal and informal English)

Thank you very much. It's much clearer about using present perfect tense. and you're right. I meant h/w like you said. Sent from my Lenovo S960 using Tapatalk
